Thanks for the suggestions so far everyone. All the electrics work ins the car, lights, radio, power windows etc. Haven't got a way of testing the battery but sure thats the first thing the Greenflag guy tested, and he said battery was fine.

I have a Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi 2006 model. The car have been flooded and the had it cleaned and The Head Changed, Pistons and rings changed, have it checked with OBD2 scanner. Everything looks fine. The fuel pump was bad, i had it changed.

Did'nt find much information online and a lot of people seamed to struggle to find the top starter motor bolts, there are 3 10mm socket bolts in total, 2 at Posted March 3, 2020. it could be starter motor. in the old days cars would do this when the carbon brushes wore down (or the commutator segments wore down). you would then give the starter motor a sharp tap with the end of a wheel spanner or something and that would be enough to make it work again temporarily. when you got fed up with that youPosted November 21, 2017.
